Why drink Gin,  other than the obvious reasons!

Drinking alcohol is not a recommended way to live healthy,  but if it’s got to be done,  Gin has its benefits with its all natural ingredients base (good quality gins anyway). Here are a few ways it could actually be good for you:

Fights illness

If you didn’t know,  Gin is made with berries, juniper berries,  powerful berries that are jammed with nutrients, they help fight infections,  mainly coughs and lung infections.

Helps arthritis

According to research,  the make up of Gin has proven to relieve aches and pains in joints,  some are known to soak raisins in Gin and eat them to relive pain!

The bitter taste of Gin and various herbs actually help the natural digestive process, producing the important fluids to relieve bloating!

Clearing out your system

Juniper berries are a natural diuretic,  which help to flush out the system and help urinary tract infections
Stay looking young!

Gin is packed full of antioxidants which help the skin to stay young and reduce wrinkles,  but while juniper berries do have antioxidants,  many standard gins have a little amount,  the best Gin is barrel aged Gin,  in which this process of making gin in the wooden barrel releases a lot more elements than any other process.

Extend your lifetime!

In moderation! It’s been proven that drinking Gin as you get older helps your blood circulation,  but,  only in moderation! I remember a 101 year old woman saying the secret to her age having a gin everyday,  but don’t take my word for it!

You will look super cool…

Frank Sinatra drank Gin,  need I say more?

If you don’t drink Gin,  or had it and didn’t like it,  then you’ve either had it too strong or badly made,  give it another go!
